The Background Document
The Background Document contains contributions from four outsdanding international experts. The Background Docment is the kick-off document for the discussions that will lead to a final document - the European Action Plan for Future Research and Development on Oiled Wildlife Rehabilitation. The Action Plan aims to be a strategic document presenting a list of research and development needs for future activities and projects. The Action Plan will be submitted to the European Commission. The European Commission may consider the Action Plan in the development of the European Research Policy and, in particular, in orienting the future Research Framework Programmes to better meet the needs of this new field of research and development.
 Background Document
All stakeholders are strongly invited to send their views to the Background Document, complementing the ones presented and/or proposing new areas of research and development.
